Our Lead HSEQ Compliance Consultant, Martina McElvaney, is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH) and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Asphalt Technology (FIAT). With a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Management and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Level 7, Martina has over 20 years of experience in HSEQ management and compliance in the construction, civil engineering, utility infrastructure, water, wastewater, roadworks, quarrying, transport, manufacturing, and agricultural sectors throughout Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the UK.
With a wealth of experience in managing and continually improving HSEQ standards, Martina has both implemented third-party certified management systems that comply with the globally recognised ISO 45001:2018, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 Standards, and various Industry Sector Schemes for businesses in both Ireland and Northern Ireland, and has held the role of Lead Auditor with a 3rd Party Certification Body verifying compliance to these standards since 2021.
Globally recognised standards such as ISO 45001:2018, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 14001:2015 provide businesses with a structured framework to achieve their occupational safety and health, environmental, and quality objectives and demonstrate their commitment to HSEQ management in their operations.
